Yeboneers had an opportunity to test their skills at mock interviews arranged for volunteers across programmes as part of the YearBeyond progression module.
Rogz kindly offered some of their staff to ‘interview’ volunteers. They had to submit a CV and cover letter applying for one of three ‘positions’. Volunteers were helped by participating in numerous sessions on how to compile a CV/Cover letter as well as tips to prepare for interviews. There was much nervousness but also excitement!
Afterwards, they received individual feedback with constructive tips. This was a really beneficial learning experience!
