With the announcement of Level 4 end of June and closing of schools, it took us back to the way the programme was implemented in 2020.

Motivating volunteers and continuing with their self-development during this time have been non-negotiable. We were able to stay in contact with all 27 of them using the Whatsapp platform. A challenging but exciting way to keep them engaged was through creating tasks aligned to their experience and expectation of the programme. One-in-one check-ins helped to keep all focused and engaged while guiding them during this time.

We are looking forward to updating you on how volunteers are doing going back to schools.
